Dr Marcel Van Dansik
General Practitioner
Dr Marcel started working in Banksia in 2008. He has a background in physiotherapy, is a Fellow of the Dutch and Australian College of general practitioners and holds a MMsc. in " The determinants of quality of life in the elderly". He enjoys working with the older population on Bribie. Dr Marcel has a special interest in nutrition and exercise as important means to stay healthy and fit and to prevent disease and dysfunction and likes to follow a holistic approach.

Dr Innocent Okoli
General Practitioner
Dr Inno is very keen in all areas of General Practice but takes special interest in Geriatrics, Physical rehabilitation, Men's Health, Paediatrics, Mental Health, Chronic Disease Management and Preventative Health.
He has worked in various areas of medicine including training in rehabilitation medicine at various tertiary hospitals across Queensland. He provides comprehensive and holistic care to his patients.

Dr Arti Vaid
General Practitioner
Dr Arti Vaid is a Senior Female GP and Director in the Group. She completed her Medical graduation in 1998 from India. She first worked as a General Practitioner with a NGO and then later joined the Armed Forces where she served for over 6 years . She gained valuable experience while in the forces, where she served in remote locations, counter insurgency operations , as part of teams running the rescue and emergency aid missions. She retired in the Rank of 'Major' & still misses those days.
She has been a part of Australian General Practice since 2007 & completed her Fellowship soon after. She has special interest in Women's Health, Menopause, Adolescent health, Diabetes Management, Weight management, Chronic Disease management. She is passionate about patient education on health related matters. She is keen on learning latest developments in medical field. She has recently taken to Functional Medicine & completed the primary training (AFMCP) & plans to work her way further into the same, in the coming years, to refine her patient care skills beyond routine medical care. Being a veteran herself and served in line of action, she is well conversant with issues with Veterans Health.

Dr Vinisha Khushal
General Practitioner
Dr Vinisha Khushal is a compassionate and dedicated female General Practitioner originally from Fiji. She completed her pre-medical studies with a Bachelor of Medical Science at Western Sydney University, followed by her MBBS degree in Fiji. After completing her internship, she began her medical rotations in Adelaide in 2021 and later moved to the Sunshine Coast in 2022, where she undertook various medical, emergency, paediatric rotations at SCUH before pursuing her passion for GP training.
Dr. Khushal provides holistic and patient-centered care, with a special interest in child health, immunisations, women’s health (including antenatal, postnatal care, and family planning), STI checks, preventive medicine, mental health consults and care plans, and chronic disease management. She is also skilled in procedures such as cryotherapy, Pap smears, Implanon insertion and removal, and iron infusions.
Known for her warm and empathetic nature, she builds strong, trusting relationships with her patients and is committed to supporting their well-being across all life stages.
Outside of work, Dr. Khushal enjoys an active and balanced lifestyle, including hiking, beach walks, travelling, cooking, yoga, and gym workouts.
She is fluent in English, Hindi, Fiji Hindi and Gujarati.

Dr Nabin Hamal
General Practitioner
Dr Nabin has shifted his workplace from Sunshine Coast to Bribie Island. He has vast experience in General Medicine , Mental health issues, Emergency medicine, Paediatrics and Orthopaedics. He is a compassionate and empathetic doctor with sound clinical knowledge and diagnostic skills. His initial medical training was in Nepal. He has lived and worked in NSW before calling Moreton Bay region his home. He has special interest in Chronic Disease management.
He is fluent in English, Hindi & Nepalese.
